Leeway can be given credit for adding the metal flare to NYHC in the late 80's / early 90's. Something most bands didn't dare to try (for lack of musical skill, or other reasons). Leeway came on the scene and pretty much took over before they imploded. They never really got their due but the "heads" know what's up. NYHC all the way!
